Local favorite, better than ever

Lady Bird has been a Hill Country favorite for decades. Opened as a nine hole course in 1969, it attracted locals and visitors alike looking for an accessible, comfortable level of play. In 1991, the course was transformed into an 18-hole course, offering golfers greater variety and challenge. Several years ago, the course went through a $2 million renovation, making Lady Bird one of the best public golf courses in Central Texas. The renovation included rebuilt greens, re-contoured fairways and a new set of tees, lengthening the course to 6,686 yards. New concrete cart paths were also added to enhance player enjoyment. Overall, the course has become a challenging, but player friendly venue for golfers of all ages.
